Basilica di San Zeno

The Basilica of San Zeno is the church of the patron saint of Verona whose remains it houses.
The facade is made of blocks of tuff combined with pink Verona marble, depending on the light of the day the facade noticeably changes shades of colour.
The portal is magnificent with bronze panels representing some scenes from the New and Old Testament.

The Cathedral of Verona is part of an architectural complex in Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance style: Episcopal Palace, Cloister of the Canons, Capitolare Library, baptistery of San Giovanni in Fonte and the Church of Sant'Elena.
The facade of the cathedral was made of tuff in the upper part and white and pink marble in the lower part.
The interior with three naves and five bays allows you to admire numerous frescoes and chapels decorated with splendid paintings.
